No public meeting was held in the Temple this day, on account of the floor being not stiff enough to support so large a company as would have come in, without swaying too much.

...Sisters Mary Ann Young, Viiate Kimball, Elizabeth Ann Whitney, Eliza R. Snow, Mary Smith, Mercy R. Thompson, and Sarah Ann Kingsbury were employed most of the day in working at the cushions for the new Altar.
