[W]e do not wish to interfere with the status of the Relief Society affecting its corporate life or its affiliation with the National Council for Women, and therefore suggest that the society remain as it is for the present at least.
But ... the affiliation of the Relief Society with the national organization must be regarded merely as a passing incident in the life of the society, an incident which may be terminated at any time without affecting in any way the society itself; and that the society must be regarded as paramount in import to everything else now connected with it ...
